Rooms were of good quality, except there wasn’t any body wash provided to me. Keys would not work on certain elevators, but not all of them (even when the elevators went to my floor) the badge just wouldn’t scan on the same two elevators. It was nice how there is a Starbucks in the lobby. The pool was great! The gym was nice. Conference rooms were also nice. They have a luggage storage area downstairs. Although I didn’t park, parking is wildly overpriced. There wasn’t a fridge in my room but a temperature controlled lower than room temperature unit, keeping items at 50 degrees. Lastly, I paid ahead of time for a reservation. When checking in, hey said they didn’t have a king bed left which is odd because I already paid for it/reserved it. The hotel offers “complimentary WiFi” but you need to make an account in order to utilize it in your room. Otherwise, a very bad WiFi connection is $15/day. Lastly, the location is very central offering several restaurant selections and good variety.

The building itself and the lobby and beautiful. They have a nice upscale restaurant on the top floor, but you’re gonna pay $100+/pp. Once you take the elevator out of the lobby, you unfortunately ascend to a run down, neglected floor of rooms. I’m not a germaphobe by any means, but I’ve been washing my hands every 30 minutes since I got here. Every surface I touch leaves an oily film on my hands which makes me question if the rooms are actually cleaned. The shampoo and body wash in my shower were both completely empty which reinforces that. The first towel I pulled had a big brown splotch on it and the room itself was in horrible condition. Torn up chair with unknown white stains, missing drawers in the side tables, drawers that wouldn’t stay shut in the dresser, broken key card swipers to get into the room, broken outlets, etc. It was a room I’d expect at a $50/night motel. Also don’t plan on buying anything from the store in the lobby. It was $7 for a Red Bull.
I saw reviews from years ago similar to what I experienced, and they always reply saying they’re currently improving their rooms, so I figured it would’ve been addressed years later for my stay. Nope. Clearly it’s not on their to do list.

I stayed here for a conference taking place in the hotel, which made it very convenient. If not for this and for it being a business expense, I would not stay in this hotel.
Pros: Decent room, very comfy bed, nice city views. Convenient Starbucks inside and lots of places to sit and work.
Cons: $60/night valet in addition to the already expensive room. There were visible tears and stains on the carpet, a visible hole in my wall where the phone plugged in, and very worn furniture. The expensive buffet breakfast was no better than a free one at a 3-star hotel. The a/c in my room was either full on or full off, no in-between. Food deliveries - while the hotel did have a dedicated space for guests to receive food deliveries, and while I found out later that they also provide plastic utensils and cardboard to-go containers at the bar, it would be so much more helpful to place these directly by the food delivery space.
I understand that Westin is a higher-end hotel name and with that comes a higher price, but that higher-end feel is not there in the rooms or hallways. Overall, this hotel has location and convenience going for it, but the value is definitely not there, and in my opinion, does a disservice to the Westin brand.

As this was the first time in my life coming to Atlanta, I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The Westin Peachtree Plaza was one of the most elegant in hospitality and humanity. I came for 6 nights for Thanksgiving. My son had a 4 day break from the Army. We felt safe and secure. From the front desk to security to the restaurant to breakfast, I could not have asked for a more elite service. I thank all the employees, including the receptionist who wiped my tears after my son left. I thank the staff at breakfast who comforted me when I was crying after my son left. I thank security who made me feel safe in a place I’ve never been to. I thank the bell boy who told me everything was going to be ok after he witnessed my goodbye to my son. I thank everyone at this hotel for taking care of me. If I ever come back, this is where I coming. I thank you for your professionalism and honesty and sincerity. Thank you. ❤️

We had a fantastic time at the Westin during our anniversary getaway weekend. Everything was great, except for the confusion with the delivery of a bottle of wine I had paid for in advance. It was supposed to arrive the day of check-in, but it didn’t until the second night. The location was perfect for the game and dining experience.
Bathrooms are a bit smaller than expected. Not plus size friendly as I told a bigger friend.
