This was our first visit to the Sun Dial and we had a great time. The elevator ride to the top (70+ floors) was stunning, especially since we arrived at sunset. The service was outstanding, from our waiter Billy, to the rest of the staff. You can’t beat the atmosphere - up in the clouds in DT Atlanta. The food was great, we did not leave hungry. I’d consider the fact the experience is part of the food $$$. Overall, we had a great time and would gladly come back for another visit.

The Sun Dial delivers an unforgettable Atlanta experience. Meals are expensive and each person must order an entrée, but the stunning 360-degree views (best in the city), exceptional service, and top-quality food make it worth every penny.
The salmon and scallop entrées were phenomenal—perfectly cooked and flavorful. Drinks and apps were solid too. Generous portions ensured we left full and satisfied.
The rotating bar is awesome with comfy chairs and convenient service. Free validated valet parking is a nice perk.
Not ideal for kids—they’re allowed, but at this price point, they likely wouldn’t appreciate it.
Highly recommend for special occasions!

stay near rather elevator doors. The view from the restaurant is a spectacular view of Atlanta. Note the restaurant doe NOT spin. So, if you are up to enjoy the sunset at for dinner make sure they seat you on the west side otherwise you will not see it. We had the Southern Fried Calamari with Pickled Okra and cherry peppers. They were good. I then had the Seared Day Boat Scallops with Brussels and my partner had Pumpkin Ravioli. Both dishes were very good. The meal was good but at least double the price I have payed for similar dishes for the view.

I came to this location with 3 other people on a business trip . This place has a FANTASTIC view of the city. The service was top shelf and the restaurant was quiet enough to have conversation. This would be a great place for a special occasion. We had a handful of appetizers to start. I had the braised short ribs and it was very good, tender, no knife needed. We had a few bottles of wine as well, then topped it off with dessert. I am not sure what the final bill was, but if was over $250/person, I wouldnt be surprised. It was worth it though. Enjoy the experience!

Great time. We got a room and credit at the restaurant. Being on the 72nd floor over Atlanta is great. I had the two way chicken and my wife had the filet. Both were great. Would definitely recommend it for a date night or trip.
