My husband and I got married at the Cowan Historic Mill on May 23rd, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience.
The venue itself is an absolute dream. While the photos are beautiful, seeing it in person exceeded every expectation. We loved having access to multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, which provided flexibility with GA’s unpredictable weather. We were able to comfortably accommodate our 100 guests and there was ample parking available.
Starting from our initial visit, Amanda made us feel right at home. Throughout the entire planning process, she and her team were very responsive, reassuring, and incredibly helpful. Every interaction left us feeling more prepared and excited for our special day.
We also utilized the Cowan's day-of coordination services, and Megan was nothing short of amazing. She handled vendor communication, kept everything running smoothly, and thought of countless details we never would have considered. One moment that perfectly reflects her care was when she surprised our two-year-old daughter (flower girl) with activities for her seat and even brought her a sippy cup and milk during dinner. Those thoughtful gestures meant the world to us and are something we'll never forget.
The entire Cowan team, from the coordinators and bartenders to the security staff, went above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. In fact, many of our guests commented on how incredible the venue and staff were throughout the evening.
If you're considering the Cowan Historic Mill for your wedding, we cannot recommend it highly enough. It was truly the wedding of our dreams.

My husband and I got married at The Cowan in November and it was absolutely perfect! The fall setting was stunning, with the historic charm of the mill complemented by the vibrant autumn colors of my flowers. The venue's rustic elegance provided a warm, inviting atmosphere that our guests raved about and continue to rave about to this day. Amanda and her staff are incredibly professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless. The layout was perfectly intimate and cozy with ample space for our ceremony, reception, and photos, all seamlessly integrated into the mill’s unique character. The chandelier in the main ballroom makes a STATEMENT. I also loved that there are designated spaces for the Bridal Party and Groomsmen to get ready and store their things safely. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable venue for our special day. Highly recommend The Cowan Historic Mill to any couple looking for a timeless, romantic setting! See so for yourself with these dreamy photos attached :)

My husband and I had our wedding at The Cowan Historic Mill this past August and it was truly the best day of our lives. Shout out and a big THANK YOU to Amanda and the rest of the Cowan team for helping make this happen. They were so organized, everything was set up so beautifully, and the day ran so smoothly. It was less stressful than we thought it'd be and we were able to be in the moment and enjoy. It was priceless. 💗

Beautiful chandeliers and pretty inside but food was skimpy and not good....the facility was not prepared for bad weather it was cold and windy for wedding upstairs....then had to go downstairs to have drinks and appetizers which were good but had to stand around in cold windy rainy weather till reception started. They needed space heaters! And again not handicap accessible! Meal was served on luncheon plastic plates with plastic silverware....hard to cut steak! Where was salt and pepper...
