My husband and I got married at The Cowan in November and it was absolutely perfect! The fall setting was stunning, with the historic charm of the mill complemented by the vibrant autumn colors of my flowers. The venue's rustic elegance provided a warm, inviting atmosphere that our guests raved about and continue to rave about to this day. Amanda and her staff are incredibly professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless. The layout was perfectly intimate and cozy with ample space for our ceremony, reception, and photos, all seamlessly integrated into the mill’s unique character. The chandelier in the main ballroom makes a STATEMENT. I also loved that there are designated spaces for the Bridal Party and Groomsmen to get ready and store their things safely. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable venue for our special day. Highly recommend The Cowan Historic Mill to any couple looking for a timeless, romantic setting! My company SiFi Entertainment and I had the pleasure of being the DJ for a wedding at Cowan Historic Mill, and I must say, it was an absolutely beautiful event. The venue itself was stunning, with the unique addition of railroad tracks right beside the property, which added a special touch to the atmosphere.
Working with Sydney, the venue manager, and the rest of the staff was a fantastic experience. They were incredibly easy to collaborate with and were genuinely helpful throughout the day. Their patience in accommodating the demands of both the guests and the bride was commendable, especially as we had to be flexible with the terrible weather and the changes that needed to be made because of it.
Overall, I highly recommend Cowan Historic Mill as a wedding venue. The combination of a gorgeous setting, a supportive team led by Sydney makes it an ideal choice for couples looking to make their special day unforgettable.

My wife and I got married here in October 2025 and it was everything you could hope for in a venue. From the beginning of the process Amanda was personable and had all the answers to all our questions. Megan was our wedding coordinator through Cowan and she was incredible! We felt so confident and less stressed after our first meeting with her about the flow of the day and she more than delivered come wedding day. The venue is the ideal ceremony/reception space. It gave an intimate feel yet still spacious enough for our guests, about 120 in total. We enjoyed every aspect of our wedding day and we would choose The Cowan all over again!

The Cowan Mill was truly the best venue we could have wanted for our wedding. The venue, staff, and the downtown area were all the absolute best. We had a wedding of about 120 people and it was the perfect size for our special day! All of our guests kept making comments about how stunning the building itself was. What sold us initially was the beautiful brick and chandelier and all the good priced packages. By the end of the process we realized we had invested in so much more than that. Amanda and Megan worked with us every step of the way. They were truly amazing and very flexible. And they did everything they could to make our day the best possible. I couldn’t rave enough about our whole experience!
