We enjoyed our stay here! We were displaced from our home due to a flood and renovations, so we were there about two and half weeks. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great positive energy. Shout out to the breakfast crew and valet crew (front desk crew were amazing too). Everyone was so accommodating and helpful. Management is doing a good job keeping these employees happy and they in turn keep their guest happy. I would stay here again. Also, it is important to let future guest know the largest bed here is small queen bed. That took some getting used to it (also not very comfy), but rooms were clean and well maintained. Also, you should check out the rooftop area. It's a cool little spot for some fresh air and great view of the city. Good Food places near by Greatest Plates, The Yard (Ice Cream), Metro Diner ( Not Landmark Diner), etc...

My friend and I had weekend reservations for Fri to Sun under a room block along with other family members who were in town for a Celebration of Life. The front desk team including Trey and Jordan were friendly, helpful, courteous, and professional during all of our interactions. We passed through the lobby a number of times over the weekend and each time were greeted with pleasant smiles, answers to questions and helpful info for our first visit in Atlanta. We were also given the history of the property. Valet is always in the lobby, and although we didn't bring a car, they were friendly also. Zella, heads up the small dining room and is like your Aunt who welcomes you into her home! She's friendly, greets each guest, explains what's available on the self serve buffet, and provides pleasant reminders before breakfast ends. Not fancy, but nice hot and cold selections. Coffee is available all day. Suites are a nice size for a downtown property. Kitchens are fully equipped with utensils, paper towels, cups and lots of fridge and freezer space. Call front desk for an electric cooktop. Beds comfy, bathrooms large, wood flooring instead of carpeting. We hope they'll consider replacing their sofas in suites. Ours was the only item which showed age and was dingy. Street is empty day and night and not great for those traveling alone or self parking. Small bodega/corner store nearby carries wine, beer, sodas and lots of snacks. This location puts you within a few blocks of many downtown attractions and we'd recommend it and plan to stay there again.

The bad: I encountered a bed bug next morning on my first night. It was alive before I smashed it (see photo). Front desk/manager came up to our room to inspect the bug. She confirmed it was indeed a bed bug. We were then moved to another room where we encountered another bug (see photo). I didn’t bother to say anything since it wasn’t a bed bug. We were then contacted shortly after by the manager by phone and said they are going to compensate the first night for the inconvenience And continued apologized heavily for the inconvenience. We were appreciative for the changes. We didn’t request anything, I am an easy going person and care about customer service. Things were fine during our stay. Few days later I was charged the full amount, no partial refund for the 1st night stay. I called to complain about the error that was made. I was then told we no longer qualified for the refund, was given the blame for the bed bug. They offered to give me honor points instead of the refund. Another week later and still no points! I never had to experience something like this before. Poor customer service. The good: convenient location. Walking distance to world of Coca Cola, State Farm stadium, aquarium. Nice and small roof top to chill and see a bit of downtown view.

This was one of the best stays I’ve had in Atlanta. I traveled there to go to a hawks game with about 6 kids, and the staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. This is a family friendly hotel with a great location that allowed late checkout. I couldn’t have picked a better location to stay for my kids birthday. Trey and Jorden are truly 2 top tier staff members that stood out amongst many on the team

My family and I recently stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Downtown, and I cannot overstate the extraordinary level of service and hospitality we experienced. As a veteran with 26 years of military service and countless travels around the globe, I’ve stayed in hotels on nearly every continent—but this property stands in a league of its own. The staff here redefined what it means to go above and beyond, leaving us truly awestruck. A heartfelt shoutout to Tee, Sonya, Zelda, and Moe your warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, their welcoming smiles and eagerness to assist set the tone for a seamless experience. Whether offering local recommendations, ensuring our needs were met promptly, or simply brightening our day with genuine kindness, this team embodies Hilton’s commitment to excellence. Guest services were impeccable every request was handled with lightning-fast efficiency, and the staff’s proactive approach made us feel like valued guests, not just another reservation. Now, let’s talk about; breakfast a standout experience in itself! The spread featured delicious, freshly prepared options (the delicious oatmeal was a family favorite!, but what truly elevated it was the outstanding customer service. The breakfast team greeted us by name, ensured coffee cups were never empty, and even remembered how our kids liked their waffles. It’s rare to find such personalized care in a hotel dining setting! To the entire Home2 Suites team: Thank you for turning a routine stay into a memory we’ll cherish. Your dedication to hospitality is unmatched, and it’s clear you take pride in making guests feel at home. We’ll be recommending your hotel to everyone we know—and counting down the days until we can return. Five stars barely scratch the surface! Military veterans and families: This is THE place to stay in Atlanta. Trust me.
