The bad: I encountered a bed bug next morning on my first night. It was alive before I smashed it (see photo). Front desk/manager came up to our room to inspect the bug. She confirmed it was indeed a bed bug. We were then moved to another room where we encountered another bug (see photo). I didn’t bother to say anything since it wasn’t a bed bug. We were then contacted shortly after by the manager by phone and said they are going to compensate the first night for the inconvenience And continued apologized heavily for the inconvenience. We were appreciative for the changes. We didn’t request anything, I am an easy going person and care about customer service. Things were fine during our stay. Few days later I was charged the full amount, no partial refund for the 1st night stay. I called to complain about the error that was made. I was then told we no longer qualified for the refund, was given the blame for the bed bug. They offered to give me honor points instead of the refund. Another week later and still no points!
I never had to experience something like this before. Poor customer service.
The good: convenient location. Walking distance to world of Coca Cola, State Farm stadium, aquarium. Nice and small roof top to chill and see a bit of downtown view.

We enjoyed our stay here! We were displaced from our home due to a flood and renovations, so we were there about two and half weeks. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great positive energy. Shout out to the breakfast crew and valet crew (front desk crew were amazing too). Everyone was so accommodating and helpful. Management is doing a good job keeping these employees happy and they in turn keep their guest happy. I would stay here again. Also, it is important to let future guest know the largest bed here is small queen bed. That took some getting used to it (also not very comfy), but rooms were clean and well maintained. Also, you should check out the rooftop area. It's a cool little spot for some fresh air and great view of the city. Good Food places near by Greatest Plates, The Yard (Ice Cream), Metro Diner ( Not Landmark Diner), etc...

This place is a joke. Power outlets by bed don't work. A/C isn't cooling the room. Fitted sheet won't stay on bed. Booked months ago but got stuck in a smaller room than reserved, leaving one of us sleeping on a horrible partial couch. We checked in at 5pm, and hotel web site shows rooms still available tonight in the size we booked. Parking is over $45 a day. Neighborhood is horrible. Stick to the suburbs, preferably in a different metro area.

Tee took great care of us! Not only was she nice enough to check us in a little early, but she was so sweet throughout our stay. She checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable, and even helped me with my wedding outfit! I'm so sad she was off on the day we checked out, we weren't able to say goodbye to her! But she deserves 100 stars- thank you Tee! Our room was great, it had a mini kitchen, a couch, view of the ferris wheel near Olympic Park, and comfortable bed. In the morning there's complimentary breakfast, which we love! Their waffles and breakfast bowls were delicious. The hotel is in the sketchy part of downtown, but a walking distance to major attractions like the Centennial Park, Coca Cola World, and much more. We would still stay here again, just because of the hospitality! Happy Journeys ✌️

Came to drop a rating based on a recent experience. I was booked for the Usher show. I checked in before I got on the road only to learn a few minutes later that the show was canceled. When I called to try and cancel my room, I was told that because I had checked in online, it was like I was already there. I did ask for a manager. To make the story short, I was finally told by a manager that I would be refunded. Unfortunately it's been over a month and that has not happened. As a long time Hilton Honors member, I'm pretty disappointed. But for those looking, the location is great for any events at State Farm or Mercedes Benz.
