Across the street from the Georgia aquarium and world of Coca Cola. Has a nice strip of restaurants and shops below it. Rooms are nice, nothing special though. We had an issue with our rooms heat and the staff helped us resolve the matter quickly. We got the room package that came with aquarium tickets and breakfast, it was a very good deal. Great view of the city. Has two pools, a gym and a nice lobby.

Hotel was impeccably clean and smelled like cleaner. Loved it. Modern lobby, nice rooms, powerful A/C, and a good sized tv. Location was perfect and right in the heart of downtown. Within walking distance of lots of places, like the aquarium and the arena. Staff was nice and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

My recent stay at Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown was deeply disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my concerns.
1. Check-In and Basic Amenities:
We paid for accommodations for three guests, yet our room was only stocked with two bottles of water. It felt as though the third person was simply disregarded.
2. Housekeeping Service:
The front desk informed us that housekeeping is scheduled every two days. However, by the third night, only the bathroom had been lightly cleaned. The trash bins, tissues, and beds were left untouched. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told that because our luggage was in the room, housekeeping couldn’t perform a full cleaning. Are we supposed to carry our luggage outside every day just to receive basic housekeeping services? This policy is utterly absurd.
3. Room Assignment and Noise:
I specifically requested a quieter room, but we were placed next to the aquarium. The vibrations and noise from the aquarium at night were extremely disruptive, making it difficult to sleep.
4. Elevator Safety Hazard:
The most alarming issue was the malfunctioning elevator. I pressed the button for the first floor, but the elevator took me to the 9th floor instead. Once there, the doors did not open immediately; the elevator shook before finally opening. It was a genuinely frightening experience. Even after reporting this issue to the front desk, no warning signs were placed near the elevator to alert other guests of the malfunction.
Overall, the level of service and safety standards at this property were far below what one would expect from the Hilton brand. I strongly urge management to address these serious concerns to prevent other guests from experiencing similar frustrationed

I’ve had great experiences at Hilton hotels before, but this was not one. Staff was unhelpful, unknowledgeable about their own hotel, and stingy (wouldn’t give you water even if you’re an honors member, for example). The room walls are thin and the front desk worker laughed when I asked if they had earplugs up front. This property uses every possible opportunity to upcharge you for things you’d assume are free. Expect to pay an additional 40-60% beyond what the price is when you book just for the stay and basic amenities.

The hotel is nice and in a great downtown location close to the aquarium. Only complaint is that our toilet did not flush properly even after maintenance took a look at it (no, we did not cog it, it was like that as soon as we got in the room). Our view was overlooking the ferris wheel, which was great, except there weren't any blackout curtains to block out the bright lights on the wheel. Hopefully, these issues can be addressed. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay.
