This hotel checked all of our boxes and staff was super great and attentive! They brought us things like towels and blankets and toilet paper in the middle of the night several times with no delay. We also were pleasantly surprised with the outdoor facilities still completely available despite it being November (until 11pm!). It was great to walk around at the aquarium all day and then soak in the hot tub. There were 4 of us in the double queen room and it was comfortable. The only thing I would say about the room is there is no fan in the bathroom, so it would get humid in the room after 4 people showering.
Location was amazing. They helped us with a late checkout and held our bags for several hours until it was time to go to the airport. The view of the park and aquarium was also really nice, at some points we were able to see a seal through one of the windows in the roof.
This is a more of a general Atlanta problem- but the tap water, even when filtered, tastes like straight up dirt water in the fall and the water bottles to buy at the shop downstairs were pretty expensive.
Overall, it was clean, convenient and comfortable. Friends were surprised it was only a 3 star hotel!

I'm disabled with three bags all four individuals at the desk were very nice but not one of the three women nor the man offered to assist with my luggage.
Room is adequate, the view is awesome.
I turned the fridge up when I checked in on Wednesday. I threw my leftovers in last night. They were warm this morning at 6. Called the desk.
Engineer came 1130(am) and told me refrigerators don't get any colder and they don't make noise. The room being on 66 was colder than the refrigerator. He took the replacement and told me good night.

The Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown is a solid choice if you’re staying in the heart of the city. The location is excellent—walkable to major attractions like Centennial Olympic Park, the aquarium, and downtown dining, which makes getting around easy.
The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The rooms are spacious enough, the beds are comfortable, and everything feels dependable and functional, which is exactly what you expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. Common areas are nice and welcoming, even if they’re not particularly flashy.
Service was consistently good during my stay—professional and helpful without being overly formal. While it doesn’t feel like a luxury property, it does a lot of things right and delivers a smooth, reliable experience.
Overall, this is a better‑than‑average downtown hotel with a great location and solid value. I’d happily stay here again when visiting Atlanta.

The Best Hilton We've Ever Stayed At — Truly Exceptional Service
We’ve traveled all over the world and stayed in countless Hilton properties, but this one in downtown Atlanta stands out as the best Hilton experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the level of service, professionalism, and genuine hospitality was above and beyond.
Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and that’s where we met Denise at the front desk — an absolute gem. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like valued guests. Every interaction with her was pleasant, helpful, and personal. It’s rare to come across someone who not only does their job well but goes the extra mile to ensure you feel at home. Denise truly set the tone for our entire stay.
The hotel itself is well-located, clean, and comfortable, but it’s the people who work there who make the real difference. From housekeeping to the front desk, every team member we encountered was courteous and professional. It’s clear that this property emphasizes guest experience in a way that makes a lasting impression.
We left feeling like we had been cared for, not just accommodated — and that’s something you don’t always get, even at luxury hotels. This Hilton is now the standard by which we’ll measure all others.
Highly, highly recommended — and if you’re lucky enough to meet Denise when you check in, you’re in for a great start to your stay

We had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Atlanta! We were in town celebrating a 7th birthday at the Aquarium, and this hotel was perfect! It’s literally right next to the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Park, and we were able to easily walk to the World of Coke and the SkyView Ferris Wheel. Everything felt super walkable and safe, even at night with young kids.
The hotel itself was a great value. Very clean rooms, friendly staff, and a solid breakfast. The indoor pool was a big hit, and the rooftop pool area was super cool with great views (even though it was a bit too cold to swim outside). Overall, an awesome stay and we’d definitely come back next time we visit Atlanta!
