Synchronicity Theatre does a tremendous job of uplifting voices and stories from marginalized communities and does so in a way that holds them up in their best light. The Actor’s are always amazing and the set design and lighting is often specific, conventional, intentional, and well done.
This is the play was “The Bluest Eye” and it was done very well it’s a hard story and they brought it to life. They dealt with those hard moments respectfully and tactfully.
The Synchronicity community is so amazing and kind. If you’re considering ever going to one of their shows in the future, don’t hesitate just go! It will be a great experience for sure.

I went to a performance of The little Prince. I had a great time with friends in the front row. The production was great.. the facility was great... The actresses and actors hit a home run.. You want to go here and have the experience.. I think I even sat next to the director and her son ., Please go see for yourself even I went...

Cute and very avant garde. Sturdy (nice) exterior (upscale office building) with a cozy, hipster-esque, theater tucked inside the lobby (avant garde, see!!) Performance was, nevertheless, very professional. Ingress and egress is really pretty easy once figured out. So, be on the lookout for other interesting performances to come.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Synchronicity Theatre while seeing Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters. My daughter and I were so impressed by the performance and the commitment to the story’s authenticity as far as language, music, and dance. My daughter was so happy to hear songs she recognized in her native tongue. The cast was so nice to meet with us and take a photo. It made her day. We were also told by another patron that this theatre has a focus on stories about girls and women. This was our first attendance but we look forward to more!

This was our first time seeing a show at this theater. I will start with the positives (and there are many): Convienent parking. The theater is located off the lobby of an upscale office building in Midtown. Nice intimate theater. We saw the production of "Bob Marley's Three Little Birds" and it was entertaining with solid singing performances.
We saw the play on June 25, 2022 and was surprised they were still enforcing a strict mask mandate??? To be fair, it was noted on their website but I just assumed they had not updated their website. It is one thing to recommend,.....but require a mask? Why?? I can go to the airport, fly internationally, go on a cruise ship, sporting event, movie theater and other live performance theaters without a mask......but not at Synchronicity? Why? What is so unique and different about this theater to justify mask mandates when everyone else has moved past this???
Furthermore, the theater was barely half full for Saturday performance (see photo). I have to wonder if this outdated and heavy handed policy was hurting attendance?
Would I go back? Yes!......once they catch up to the rest of the world and eliminate the mask mandate.
