As a Bank of America cardholder 💳, I love taking advantage of their monthly perk: the "Museums on Us" program, where cardholders get free admission to select museums on the first weekend of every month. Today, I visited the Atlanta History Center and saved a cool $27—such a great deal! 🙌
This museum offers a deep dive into Georgia's rich history, covering everything from Lincoln’s contributions to major battles, daily life, entertainment, and so much more. 🏛️ In the back, there's a beautiful garden 🌸 that's perfect for a relaxing stroll and some fresh air.
If you're planning a visit, I recommend going between 9–11:30 AM for the best experience. Have fun and enjoy your time! 🎉

As a photo and video team based in Atlanta, we are at The Atlanta History Center many weekends throughout the year capturing weddings, as well as shooting engagement sessions during the week! The venue is always well kept, and manicured allowing for breathtaking content, and the staff are very informative and helpful. On wedding days, it is important to have venue staff that allow for a stress free day and Atlanta History Center does exactly that. We highly recommend Atlanta History Center to our clients, and to anyone else looking for the perfect wedding venue or engagement session location!

Completely blown away by this historical center. Great attention to details throughout, spent at least 2 hrs here with family and STILL didn't get to see everything. You will not be disappointed if you choose to visit. Swan house and more was incredible. Cannot recommend enough.

I grew up in GA, and I've been to the Atlanta History Center before, but I went again today just to see The Battle of Atlanta cyclorama.
I just went to Gettysburg National Military Park last week and saw the The Battle of Gettysburg cyclorama, and I learned there that these are the only 2 remaining cycloramas of a bygone era.
I find them AND the history of the war so impressive and interesting, and I feel that the AHC has done (and continues to do) such an amazing job showcasing the city's monumental moments in history.
I honestly believe every GA resident (especially transplants) should be required to visit and learn about how far ATL has come.

One of my favorite placed to visit with the focus in the Atlanta area with great exhibits, cyclorama , historical house and gardens. Also a small theater inside with occasional presentations and much more. Free and sufficient parking.
