Gorgeous. Stunning. Absolutely beautiful. We knew that while we were in town we had to stop by and boy did it not disappoint. The grounds were super clean, no brush on the sidewalks or garbage all over. It took us a few hours to walk through the trails and thankfully they gave us a map because we would have missed 80% of the trails. It was super relaxing to walk through, 10/10 will visit again if I come back to Atlanta.

We’ve visited several botanical gardens across the U.S., and the Atlanta Botanical Garden is easily among the very best. What made our visit even more memorable was the docent-led tour that begins at 1:30 PM — and it’s completely free. Highly recommend joining it if you can. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a much deeper appreciation and understanding of the gardens, the design, and the immense work that goes into maintaining them.
What really stood out was the extraordinary level of care, planning, and attention to detail throughout the entire property. Everything looked absolutely immaculate. The orchid collection was stunning, with some of the most beautiful displays we’ve seen anywhere. Our favorite area by far was the Earth Goddess — truly breathtaking and unlike anything we had ever seen before. This is an absolute must-visit in Atlanta.

The light show Is beautiful. My favorite part was the lights with music. Is a perfect place to go with a family or friends. I went there and I would love to give my thanks to the team that worked in the show, they were really attentive, they had patience with me since it was my first time here. They answered all my questions about the drinks, the menu, the marshmallow are with the fire. They had patience when I was deciding what to order. I'll definitely go back to a different show they made just because they left a really good impression on me. Definitely recommend to buy the tickets in advance.

Visited the gardens for the Christmas lighting. The gardens were beautifully decorated with lights all around including musical show. This is a great activity to enjoy with kids. It is highly recommended to purchase tickets in advance and use an early time not to catch the crowds and long lines.

Pure joy! The Atlanta Botanical Gardens are some of the best in the world. The grounds are fascinating. The variety, the art, the curation— all unmatched. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Plan to spend at least 3 hours touring the entire facility and grounds. Bring water, fan, walking shoes and sun umbrella if sensitive to the sun— this place thrives because of the Atlanta heat.
The staff is friendly, accommodating, and well organized. I highly recommend learning the history of this facility because it is a true marvel and gem.
