The Conservatory at Waterstone was an absolutely perfect venue and had an all-star staff! ALL of the food they provided was delicious, the setting was perfect for our wedding (had ~115 guests), the photos both indoors and outdoors were gorgeous, and the flowers were EXACTLY how I wanted. As the bride, I couldn't be happier with this venue & I had the wedding of my dreams all thanks to the amazing staff! Linda was our day-of wedding coordinator and she was OUTSTANDING! We were a little high maintenance during the planning (doing little pop-in visits on weekdays to measure and experiment with our own décor we wanted, as well as calling randomly with questions) and everyone involved here were exceptionally kind and understanding! They were so helpful with last-minute requests and went ABOVE AND BEYOND accommodating throughout the entire planning process as well as the wedding day! :) A very special thank you to everyone at the Conservatory for making my day stress-free and for always going the extra mile with service and accommodations! I cannot recommend this venue enough!!

Our wedding was a wonderful night and SO much fun but I do feel that I have mixed feelings about the venue .
Positives
The venue is beautiful and it is large enough to host a 115 person wedding comfortably . I loved that this was an “ all inclusive “ venue . It really helped with the planning and budgeting process . We loved our cake and our food choices. We received many compliments on these as well as the charcuterie table for the cocktail hour . We were very very pleased with this . The bartenders were also super friendly and helpful all night long . We were assigned Alejo for our DJ and he is a huge reason that our wedding was so wonderful. We asked that he play a mix of our two cultures for the evening and he did an amazing job . Our dance floor was packed from start to finish . He really understood the vibe we were going for and delivered . As a whole , the wedding was absolutely beautiful and the venue did a beautiful job with everything . We were told several times how gorgeous the venue was and that it was the best wedding they had ever been to! The venue cost included the food , alcohol, DJ, wedding planning services , the cake and also a few florals ! Definitely a budget friendly venue and you would never know based on how elaborate and gorgeous everything turned out !!
Negatives
I would say if I could go back and redo any part of my wedding I would’ve chosen to hire a wedding coordinator on my own. We were assigned a wedding coordinator from the venue, Linda. There were a ton of communication issues throughout the night . She was not helpful in directing the photographers or helping guide me where to go without being seen by guests . Because of this , I had to walk around an alley that she told me to go through and I ended up walking down the aisle with a dirty dress . This was heartbreaking for me .Throughout the night it was also really difficult to find her when something was needed. There was a lack of communication between the DJ and the coordinator throughout the night as well . Due to this , the wedding coordinator was missing during the bouquet toss and we had to improvise a bouquet to toss in that moment. We had a similar issue with the garter toss .When the dj started the song , there was no chair on the dance floor and the majority of the song was spent trying to find a chair to do the garter toss with. She missed this as well. I understand that is a difficult job and I would’ve disregarded these things if it weren’t for the things she had said throughout the day . There were conversations she tried to have with me that I felt were HIGHLY inappropriate and unprofessional. She pulled me to the side twice to tell me what had gone wrong and justified why she wasn’t present by blaming the photographer and DJ. Additionally , once the night ended Linda approached the DJ and began speaking negatively about our photographer. My immediate family heard what was said about the photographer. The photographer was also next to them and overheard the negative comments . I would just recommend that if you use this venue to either ask for a coordinator that isn’t her or pay extra to bring your own. It was the only negative aspect of the night , but played a big role .

Conservatory at Waterstone in Ackworth was a wonderful experience! They were knowledgable, helpful and flexible. My daughter chose The Conservatory in Ackworth for her wedding reception because it is a mostly all inclusive venue, meaning the catering/food is included (there are several choices), along with the wedding cake (several choices), a choice of DJ, choice of linens, chargers and centerpieces for the tables, and a credit for flowers to be used at the tables or in floral bouquets. The cost was reasonable, the historic building had the perfect ambiance, the food was great, the cake tasty and moist and the flowers were beautiful (they made bouquets from a photo we gave them). I most appreciated that they were willing to work with me on bringing in my own decor for the rooms and center pieces, as I am an Interior Designer, and the decor was very important to me. Overall a great experience, and having the all inclusive was big load off our stress. I would highly recommend this venue! Priscilla Berry

We had a beautiful wedding here on Saturday. Everything was perfect! The staff was amazing and took care of everything. We basically just had to show up. We got so many compliments about the food, DJ, bartender, and flowers and the venue over all. Linda was there for the rehearsal and then went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect on the day of. She absolutely amazing. I can’t think of a single thing that could have made it better.

From the moment we walked in The Conservatory one Sunday earlier this year, we knew instantly that we wanted our wedding to be held here! Kandice toured us without an appt, making time to answer questions galore! The Conservatory team of wedding professionals in every instance, whether in person, by phone, text, or email, responded quickly & thoroughly. Every detail of our wedding was handled with such care & detail and the event diary/binder worked well so the entire team has access and could easily communicate with each other in preparation for our special day. Planning sessions were well organized. Decor, floral, food, and beverage options were plentiful and appealing. Every single detail during rehearsal was explained, early setup was possible as part of rehearsal as there was no conflict with another event. We were married on a holiday weekend which worked so well. Guest parking was plentiful as well! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! The team and venue exceeded expectations we didn't even consider! Todd and I have replayed the day over and over and still are amazed by the efforts of The Conservatory Team! There are two days in my life I will always remember... my wedding day is one of them, thanks to Joanne, Linda, Susan, Riley, Kandice, and everyone else who touched our event. The DJ (Scott) was assigned to us did a fabulous job! We had 75 guests; timing and flow through the event was smooth and so enjoyable. We had comments from guest that our wedding was absolutely The Best, most organized, fun, with love captured in every way... this would not have been the case anywhere else! The Conservatory Team created an atmosphere of love and we are so appreciative! As a side, my daughter is getting married here this weekend, and we are so excited to see everyone again! Thank you so very much for helping us create forever memories! ❤️
